If you don’t have your own transport, check in with your host. Hosts are often very accommodating to WWOOFers who need to be picked up at a local airport or bus station.
…This doesn’t need to be anything fancy. While Carhartt’s are great, they are by no means necessary. An old pair of hiking books, your ripped jeans, and a couple of painting T-shirts will work just fine. Don’t have anything like that? Your local thrift store should have you covered.
…When you WWOOF, be prepared to experience a different way of life. You’re coming into an unfamiliar situation, so there will be much you can’t plan for. But if you are open to it, the unexpected moments can often be the most rewarding.
