New WWOOF website coming in October!

Another step toward the unification of the global WWOOF movement

October 23rd is the planned date of the transition for WWOOF Canada to a new Internet platform, managed directly by the international WWOOF community, with some important new features and simplifications.

After the unification of the image and functionality for all WWOOF member organizations’ websites of the worldwide Federation of WWOOF Organisations (FoWO), this is another significant step: the new platform will be managed by the internal IT group of FoWO and no longer delegated to an external service. WWOOFers will no longer have to fill out a new profile each time they decide to change countries but will have a single profile valid wherever they want to go WWOOFing.

One of the goals is to make features more simple and effective, but we will talk more about this as the date of the transition approaches.  Look for further news in your Inbox in the upcoming weeks.
