Canada is facing a farmer succession crisis. Farms are aging out, and fewer young people are stepping in to continue their work. Without support, generational knowledge is lost, rural communities weaken, and our food system becomes more fragile.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Every monthly gift helps WWOOF Canada sustain and grow opportunities for future farmers.
$10 / month — Maintains the crucial tools connecting aspiring farmers with Hosts
Maintains the WWOOF website and its many systems, which power the connections and learning between WWOOFers and hosts.
$25 / month — Supports staff time for guidance, mediation, and community care
Helps us to launch new initiatives (i.e. host approval program, WWOOFer welcome package) that make the WWOOF community more welcoming and accessible.
$40+ / month —Strengthens systems that ensure safe, equitable, and sustainable visits
Helps maintain and improve the online tools, resources, and support systems (i.e. complaints process, review system, respectful relationships policy) that hosts and WWOOFers rely on before, during, and after each visit.
$100+ / month —Expands access to WWOOFing across Canada
Supports targeted initiatives that remove barriers to participation and supports outreach, helping us get more Canadians into organic farming and sustainable living.
$250+ — Launch New Online Tools
Allows us to invest in new online tools, such as the new WWOOF app! Ensures we can continue developing new features that broaden and deepen opportunities for learning between WWOOFers and hosts.
Monthly giving allows WWOOF Canada to plan for the long term, respond proactively to community needs, and keep programs safe and accessible for all.
